The Special Operations Candidate Development (SOCDEV) program is an elite Human Performance training curriculum designed to physically and mentally prepare the dedicated few for the rigors of U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) selection. SOCDEV carefully interviews and enrolls only those who are truly focused on enlisting and are adamant about pursuing a successful career within the special operations community of their respective military branch.

SOCDEV is for the following:

– Current candidates on the delayed entry program.

– Aspiring candidates looking to earn a contract.

SOCDEV will include the following:

– One to three days per week of weightroom/ gym facility instruction working on specified energy systems (phase specific). All programmed and periodized weight training and high intensity threshold work will be specific to the tactical athlete.

– Educational periods of classroom instructions covering phases of training, goals, energy systems, mechanics, wellness, recovery, nutrition, and the latest research in case studied neurocience as it pertains to the tactical athlete.

– Two to five days per week of specific physical outdoor evolutions i.e. swimming, specified running routes, trails (ruck and runs), and open field training. All programmed and periodized outdoor evolutions will be specific to the tactical athlete.

Note: All training is phase specific and will vary among all aspiring and current candidates.
